Welcome to the 2025 DHS Boys Lacrosse Program.
Below you will have some information shared with you to better understand how we opperate and what our schedule looks like.

Ages
The JV Division at DHS is designed for the Juniors and Sophomores who are not getting significant playing time at the varsity level. This will allow the players to gain valuable experience and development opportunities to continue through our program.
Some players will be given the opportunity to participate at both levels as their ability and depth status warrant.
When
The JV program runs from March 22nd through the end of May.
Those players that are added to the varsity roster or the end of year tournament roster wil participate through the FCIAC and State playoff schedule.
Where
Where are practices and games typically held?
The JV practices will usually be with the varsity on the center Oval turf field.
The JV games will either be on the center Oval turf field or the Stadium turf field.
Away games will be dependent on the host.
Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Practices are held Monday through Friday from 2:45-5:30 on all days that we do not play games.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
The JV team will play almost the exact schedule as the varsity giving them approximately 16 games with possible additions of a couple of extra games.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
All JV players will be issued home and away jerseys and game shorts.
EQUIPMENT NEEDS
The players will be issued helmets, helmet decals, jackets, practice reversible and a few other team issued pieces.
The players will be responsible to supply their own sticks, cleats, protective gear(shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves) and other equipment that they feel they need to compete.
Frequently Asked Questions
Team store items were purchased by the individual players through lax.com. Much of this is custom items. If you missed the team store runs you will have to check with lax.com to see what items they might be able to offer you at this point.
Every player will be required to:
Register with Family ID when opened for the Spring Sport season in March
Have an up to date physical on file with school nurse. (must have had a physical within the last 13 months).
All players must be in good academic standings and in school to participate.
As members of the boy's lacrosse Program there will be a fee to play and we will also expect players to help with our fundraising efforts to cover costs that are not covered within our team budget.
