Darien High School

The Varsity Division at Darien High School is open to all seniors, juniors and sophomores that were on the 2024 Tournament Roster.

Other players will be added to this roster as we monitor ability and standing within the program

The Varsity Division at Darien High School will officially run from March 22nd through the state championships in June.

There will be preseason training and opportunities for all players to prepare for the season.

Practices and games are usually held at Darien High School.

The Varsity practice site is the center oval turf.

The Varsity home game site will either be the DHS Stadium Turf or the Center Oval Turf

Away game sites will be determined by our host.

Practices officially begin on Saturday, March 22nd.

Practice times will vary, but weekday practices typically run from 2:45-5:30 with the possible additions of classroom or weightroom work from 5:30-6:15 on given days.

Weekends are usually for game play, but in the instances where we play on Friday there would be an occasional Sunday practice.

The Varsity Division will play a 16 game regular season and then FCIAC and State Tournaments which could end up giving them a total of 23 games.

Every player will be required to:

Register with Family ID when opened for the Spring Sport season in March

Have an up to date physical on file with school nurse. (must have had a physical within the last 13 months).

All players must be in good academic standings and in school to participate.

As members of the boy's lacrosse Program there will be a fee to play and we will also expect players to help with our fundraising efforts to cover costs that are not covered within our team budget.

All players will be issued game uniforms, jacket, rain pants, helmet, practice reversible, helmet decals, travel bag and other team gear.

Players are responsible for their own sticks, gloves, cleats, spirit wear and other gear there feel appropriate for play.
